This live center can also be used in cases such as turning parts without centres or with rough centres. It is suitable for precision machining within 0.005 mm eccentricity.
The integral shaft provides greater precision and rigidity at the tip and on the workpiece. In addition to the classic extraction, the function of the nut is also to stiffen the live center in order to eliminate any bending or vibration caused by the elastic deformation of the live center barrel.

Integrated shafts in high quality steel either with or without carbide tips, interchangeable inserts and cone shaped rings. Tecnologie FRB’s live centres offer a concrete tangible solution to our customer’s requirements. A complete range of revolving live centres is available, equipped with morse tapers in different sizes, both with standard or special features to fulfil any requirement.
